My communications training began in art. Advanced degrees in art history trained me how to see, deeply. I learned to make sense of what's present, or not, and then express it with crystalline clarity. I honed this ability teaching writing and interdisciplinary classes for nine years in an art college, and in my work with clients. Then and now, I help folks identify, express, and act on what matters most.

I love a varied diet of inspiration and the moment of discovering a thinker or writer with a strong point of view. I get some of my own best ideas out walking in nature.
