KIND WORDS FROM PAST CLIENTS

I highly recommend Stacy for any organization or business that is seeking to effectively communicate its core values.

"Stacy was an invaluable asset in developing my website from idea to launch. She interviewed me about my practice and synthesized the information perfectly to create a unique consumer-friendly website that has become the backbone in growing my practice. In fact, many of my high net worth clients have indicated that the reason that they chose me instead of others was because of the professional look and the content of my website, which Stacy was the chief architect. If you need an effective, creative communicator on your team to grow your existing business, Stacy is the right person. I highly recommend Stacy for any organization or business that is seeking to effectively communicate its core values."

Even six months later, I continue to receive client referrals as a direct result of this presentation.

"Although I am an experienced presenter, I felt in need of a boost to make my presentation more meaningful for my audience. My work with Stacy began with a conversation in which she helped me better understand the perspective of my audience (parents of children struggling in school), and how to speak directly to their concerns while still providing the practical information that I wanted to share. Audience feedback was so positive that the organization invited me to speak at their main conference this coming spring. Even six months later, I continue to receive client referrals as a direct result of this presentation."

I would highly recommend working with Stacy if you want to develop a website that truly reflects YOU and your business

As a new business, and new business owners, we knew how important it was to be able to convey our vision and mission in our website. There are 3 of us as equal business partners, which is really great but comes with the challenge of having to meld all our ideas into one concept. We reached out to Stacy because we needed help and expertise in creating one vision from 3 minds. She definitely delivered! She spent very thoughtful time with each of us, hearing our own individual ideas, and created a single identity for our vision.  Our conversations with her about our vibe and what we wanted to convey, has helped us in so many other ways that we hadn’t expected. Our logo design came quickly, our ability to decorate and create a space that reflects our vision came quickly, our marketing ideas and materials were easy….all extra bonuses after she helped us solidify “who we were”. We are constantly getting compliments on our website about how beautiful and professional it is. I would highly recommend working with Stacy if you want to develop a website that truly reflects YOU and your business, especially if you don’t even know what that is yet! She is a pleasure to work with, has great insights, and will really listen to you and what you are trying to convey to create something better than you could have imagined. Thank you again Stacy for all your work with us!

Stacy is a strong editor, and practical.

After starting a new pyscho-educational testing practice with a partner, we turned to Stacy for help on melding our writing styles on our collaborative reports. Stacy was supportive and insightful during my initial phone conversation with her. She is a strong editor and practical, quickly honing in on a strategy to help me organize my ideas and tactfully make my points. I came away with a tool to apply immediately in my work, and am now able to communicate and collaborate efficiently with my partner—saving our practice valuable time and resources.

Stacy’s approach immediately put me at ease. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to communicate more effectively.

I love having someone to bounce ideas off of and trust Stacy’s input when I’m weighing possible decisions.

“I sought out a coach soon after signing the lease on my own office space in San Francisco. I was taking a huge step forward in my business and needed help gaining the focus and prioritization to kick myself into the next gear. I wanted advice, but I also just needed a teammate. It's hard doing it all on your own!

I had met Stacy at a health fair and we'd gotten along right away. We met once afterward just to connect further and talk about our industries and enjoy some art. So when I was thinking about what kind of coach I'd want to work with, I kept imagining how seamless that connection was. I'm so glad I got back in touch with her because working with her has been so incredibly helpful. I trusted her right away and loved how she could catch things I was saying and repeat them back to me, somehow both sounding like me and also clarified. She challenged me the way I needed to be challenged, but also listened well if something didn’t resonate so we could always find a path forward.

Not only have I claimed a specialty, I’ve gained a ton of confidence and testimonials in that field. Also, you’ll love the Notes + Next Steps documents that she sends after each session. In our work from the past 6 months, I have ideas that I can continue to build upon for the next 2 years at least!

After our calls I feel energized and focused to take on the realistic and meaningful set of tasks we've agreed on before we meet again. I love having someone to bounce ideas off of and trust Stacy’s input when I'm weighing possible decisions. Working with her has my creativity back online and I'm excited and proud of my practice. Thanks, Stacy!”

Stacy’s brilliance was understanding my needs in order to be successful: what I wanted to do and how to implement it. She was able to take all of my information and organize it into a clear message.

"I had the opportunity to teach at a world-class spa in Tecate, Mexico in April 2015. As a featured specialty week presenter, this was a TED talk-style moment for my professional work. And I knew I wanted to nail it. But where to begin?

I needed a clear plan of how I was going to approach doing something I love—teaching others how to improve their daily lives through movement. How would I take all that I know and present it in a way relevant to the people who would be my audience?

Stacy helped me develop clear messages for the well-educated, sophisticated audience that I would have. For the first time I felt confident and enjoyed giving my introductory presentation in front of 200 people with NO notes: in fact, it was an exhilarating experience!

In working with Stacy, I was able to create for myself a clear frame and introduction for my participants as to what they would be experiencing during my 45-minute classes every day for 6 days.

The week was a smashing success! The guests understood the clear messaging of my materials and were able to take home with them tools for improving their daily life and movement habits. They were grateful and deeply appreciative. And I had the best time teaching something I love and am passionate about in a place I love and hold dear. And it was all because of the excellent guidance and preparation I received from Stacy.

Stacy's brilliance was understanding my needs in order to be successful: what I wanted to do and how to implement it. She was able to take all of my information and organize it into a clear message. Also, something deep inside me changed. I now find it liberating to teach my weekly classes without notes. I'm more confident about my ability to do writing and public speaking, and that confidence has transferred to other areas of my life.

Working with Stacy has given me both the confidence and a framework to use again and again as I go forward in my teaching and presenting at workshops. I have had a dramatic mind-shift from fear to excitement about public presentations to either small or large groups. I now relish in the idea of being invited to present to large groups. I'm excited about planning my next workshop using the skills and knowledge I learned from Stacy. Thank you Stacy!

Working with Stacy is right for anyone who has a presentation, or who has to do public speaking or teaching. I encourage you to work with Stacy so that you too can learn the tools for effective communication and take your business to the next level, by understanding your audience and yourself."

I’m still astonished by the results of our work together!

"As a math specialist for students with learning difficulties, I pride myself on helping reticent students become adept learners. Working 1:1, however, is expensive for families and was stretching me thin, so I wanted to create a product to reach a larger audience while keeping my unique teaching style.

Before we worked together, I was randomly working on parts of my curriculum and having trouble figuring out how to create this offering.

I'm still astonished by the results of our work together! Stacy helped me to name and own my light, playful, "pirate-band aesthetic” as a teaching asset that makes me effective and unique. You can address serious processing issues with a light tone. Stacy showed me how to bake this into the curriculum + videos that I developed.

I loved the iterative process we used. Each exercise Stacy gave me had a purpose and seemed manageable — from writing a "thinking of you" letter to potential clients, to writing a FAQ page for questions we anticipated clients would ask. Our work together felt more like a fun get together even though so much work was getting done.  From my unformed idea, she helped me define a project that would get the results I desired, with clear manageable steps. Stacy’s encouragement convinced me this was something I could actually pull off.

I produced four short videos with hands-on materials and homework for students to learn about integers. Because the process was clearly outlined, I was able to internalize it, and now have a clear roadmap to complete the curriculum. I feel more empowered to write and have a much stronger sense of how word choice sets the tone of my work. Now I’m talking to kids about "making buddies with your brain” and reaching into my "teacher's toy box” because I see the results I get.

I would recommend Stacy to anyone looking to refine an idea they have (at whatever stage it is), and make it a reality."

Without a doubt, the laser clarity and focus that I created with Stacy accelerated the growth of my business.

"A year ago, I decided to develop my love of bringing family + friends together over a meal of healthy and nourishing food into a real business.   My own 25 years in marketing + communications means I have an exceedingly high bar in whom I ask for help in these matters. I knew I’d have to hone my vision and key messaging to stand out in the competitive Bay Area food scene.

Without a doubt, the laser clarity and focus that I created with Stacy accelerated the growth of my business. Stacy is a rare talent: an incisive listener and nimble thought-partner who always has your vision at the center of her approach. I appreciate her openness, creativity, and ability to iterate so an idea can bloom.   Fourteen months later, I have a loyal following, over three-hundred and fifty 5-star reviews, and have recently expanded into cooking classes (in person, and online). I'm bringing in substantial revenue, and having so much fun. I love being able to say that. Even more, decisions along the way were so much easier because I knew where I was headed and why I was going there, thanks to Stacy.

I’m confident in my business, because I know I’ve got a solid foundation. In fact, I was recently asked by a food start-up to teach other aspiring cooks how they too can create a profitable, sustainable personal chef business. I recommend Stacy to anyone who’s serious about growing a quality business. I know she is always my first call."

FROM MY CIVIC WORK

It is to her credit that this project got built—a remarkable accomplishment.

"I had the good fortune to work with Stacy Garfinkel on the restoration project of Sunnyside Conservatory. She led our disparate team of neighbors and volunteers through the maze of politics, strife and inertia that is public works. Stacy worked tirelessly and graciously through an arduous process and with difficult obstacles. It is to her credit that this project got built—a remarkable accomplishment."
